What's in YOUR Wallet?

Every week or two, and when I have a day at home, I unceremoniously dump my purse upside down on a counter in order to clean out the contents.  It's a catch-all during each week, my purse.

I think you can tell a lot about a person by their purse or, for those brave men, European clutch!  ;)  So, what's in this lady homesteader's bag?  Here goes:
  • Bottle of generic migraine relief pills.
  • Tiny hairbrush.
  • 10' tape measure.  (I cannot tell you HOW many times I've needed this!!!)
  • Tiny motel bottle of mouthwash.  You know, just in case.
  • Dental floss.  You don't need it often, but when you DO need it . . . you REALLY need it!
  • Nail file.
  • Fingernail clipper.
  • Ziploc w/ colored pencils for when I'm out to dinner with wee ones who get restless.  (Bopee's always prepared!)
  • My fishing license in the same (above) Ziploc.  Dunno why (it's there, specifically).
  • Bottle of generic naproxen sodium tabs.
  • Visine.
  • Tiny bottle of face lotion.
  • Chapstick.
  • Small bottle of lotion.
  • Two lipsticks in handy little snap-top box.  Shades are 'Petal' and 'French Toast'.  What the . . . 'French Toast'?!
  • Small mirror.
  • Wallet, checkbook.
  • Loose change (but not any more!).
  • Extra checkbook since I ran out of checks.
  • Two pens.
  • Book of matches (call me a boy scout, but I like to be prepared).
  • Flashlight.
  • Gum.  (I panic when I have no gum.  Seriously.)
  • Two essential oil roll-ons:  'Valor' and 'Deep Relief'.
  • 5 loose receipts (but not any more!).
  • Kleenex.
  • 5 miscellaneous notes (no longer).
  • 1 deposit slip (ditto:  no longer).
And, taa-dahhh!  That's it!
Now, what about that "secret" zippered side compartment?  We all have one of those!
  • Two bottles of prescription meds.
  • One unmarked bottle of misc. prescription meds for those as-needed emergencies.
  • My birth certificate.
  • Paper copy of limited info should I be away from my brain, I mean computer.
  • Tucker's rabies vaccination certificate (to get into Canada), now expired (as of October 15th).
So, what's in YOUR wallet?

  2. Your song posted at the top reminded me of a couple of years ago at Thanksgiving back home, a little alcohol was flowing and brothers and I started in to a little Bob & Doug Mackenzie routine, and Charlie didn't know who they were!!! LOL, he was looking at us like we had suddenly morphed into aliens :) Of course we schooled him right away! Take OFF!

  6. Why do you have your birth certificate in your purse???

I have many of the same things in my purse - lipsticks (I never wear!), lip gloss (because I like to pretend I wear it), tiny hand sanitizer, travel tissue, travel bottle tylenol, nail file / clippers, two pens, checkbook, wallet, my netbook, and a lollipop. I recently removed a large lake rock that some small person had slipped in there over the summer :)
