Miscellaneous

I hope to have time to post soon.  I have just been tooooo tired at night, and there seems to be no time in the morning.  But, I do hope to be back at it w/in a couple of days.

In the meantime, here we have a particularly lovely impromptu gift from my mommy.  :)

Next, I figure these chickens are the smart ones:  trying to stay out of the quagmire of mud and muck that is their yard.  They're standing on top of a lean-to that sits in front of the chicken house (and which offers shade in the summer and protection in the winter).

Captions?  "Look to your left . . . ."

  1. Oh, you're so smart! The bloom DID turn out to be pink. (I was hoping for purple.)

  5. I'm glad everyone else enjoyed my chicken line-up, too. After I posted it, I did wonder, "Uhhh, is anyone going to think that's funny besides me?"

Karen Sue, I love hyacinths, too! Although, this one isn't very fragrant . . . seems like the purple ones are usually more perfumed. But, yes, it sure does add a touch of spring . . . and begs me to stick my nose into it every time I pass by!
