In the meantime, here we have a particularly lovely impromptu gift from my mommy. :)
Next, I figure these chickens are the smart ones: trying to stay out of the quagmire of mud and muck that is their yard. They're standing on top of a lean-to that sits in front of the chicken house (and which offers shade in the summer and protection in the winter).
Captions? "Look to your left . . . ."
"And, now . . . look to your RIGHT!" (Oops, there's always one that breaks the formation, isn't there?)
Oh, you're so smart! The bloom DID turn out to be pink. (I was hoping for purple.)
ReplyDeleteomg those chickens look like they are in a lineup at the police station LOL, Love it! Hope you are doing well, that flower must help bring a little sunshine!
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell that hyacinth from here! I love it when they pop out and smell like spring!
ReplyDeleteLove the chicken pics! Enjoy your flowers-they look lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everyone else enjoyed my chicken line-up, too. After I posted it, I did wonder, "Uhhh, is anyone going to think that's funny besides me?"
ReplyDeleteKaren Sue, I love hyacinths, too! Although, this one isn't very fragrant . . . seems like the purple ones are usually more perfumed. But, yes, it sure does add a touch of spring . . . and begs me to stick my nose into it every time I pass by!
