Next, I figure these chickens are the smart ones: trying to stay out of the quagmire of mud and muck that is their yard. They're standing on top of a lean-to that sits in front of the chicken house (and which offers shade in the summer and protection in the winter).Captions? "Look to your left . . . ."
Oh, you're so smart! The bloom DID turn out to be pink. (I was hoping for purple.)

ReplyDeleteKaren Sue, I love hyacinths, too! Although, this one isn't very fragrant . . . seems like the purple ones are usually more perfumed. But, yes, it sure does add a touch of spring . . . and begs me to stick my nose into it every time I pass by!
