8 October 2006: We had a big-progress weekend: Tom got the rest of the woodshed roof done, picked up more rough-cut from the local sawyer, and then sided it as well. Here it is, in progress. In the foreground, covered, are 3 of the 10 cords of wood we ordered this year . . . hopefully and theoretically the last wood we'll ever buy. From now on, we'll log it off our own land (for FREE other than the blood, sweat, and tears it will take to do the rewarding work)!
