10 December 2005. This is one of my mentally handicapped chickens that still sleeps outside. But, since chickens aren't thrilled about snow, she has devised a plan to avoid it (which really isn't working out very well). She flies from the tree they roost in to the top of our house. And then, on to where? In this case, she continued over the roof and landed on the front porch railing. (Then it was up to the porch roof and back into the backyard / chicken yard.) Dumb bird(s).
