Super Quick.

Ugh.  Tired.  And no time.  But, uber-quick . . . .

Judy, you are an amazing, thinking-of-others-during-your-hard-times DOLL to offer what you did (in the comments section of the previous post).  THANK YOU!  But, no, I shan't be putting you to any trouble, you sweet thing.  :)  I *am* going to try to get out fun, chatty snail mail cards to my dear friend!

And, Susan the Great, I'm MORTALLY wounded!  You missed my Hallelujah! post?!  I shall have to snuggle my Snuggle Bunny and weep.  ;p

So, I finished up my 3rd SOLID day of inventory yesterday.  Got everything done on the floor that yet needed to be done in my section.  Then, at the end of the day, they showed me the "bowels" of the store, the dungeon (oddly enough, located high upstairs):  the (dum-dum-dummmm) storage area!  That's where I'll be hiding today . . . in the dark and dirty, dingy.  Not ding-ee.  Dinj-ee.  Wish me luck!  It should take two days, but I think I'll have help during most of it.  A good opportunity to get to know another employee, at any rate!

All my fellow "floor-mates" are terrific, and I already feel as though I'm making work-relationship bonds with some of them.  One gal, who moved here before our junior year of high school and whom I didn't know then - even in a class of 48 - has been my "tour guide", and it's been really neat getting to know her.  Smart, capable cookie, that one.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to sleeping in a bit tomorrow - later than my 5:30 alarms, anyway!  Granted, I'll probably have a little body snuggled up next to me with my nannying gig, but as long as she doesn't wake me before it's light out . . . I'll be happy!  Long live the coffee!!!!!!!!!  (Oddly enough, there's NO coffee pot at work!!  What's UP with that?  Aren't we in Scandinavian Minnesota???)

Gotta run!  xox
