All Better!

Hi, friends - I'm all better!  It was a relief to figure out that I hadn't overdone it on my weekend, it was just that . . . I had the 24-hour flu!

After I got out of the shower yesterday morning, I was suddenly running to the bathroom, about ready to womit (fortunately, I didn't).  Then, at work, I was feeling completely OUT of it:  not dizzy but like my head was full of cotton and scrambled . . . something.  I had a killer headache that wouldn't quit, and then, last night, the lower intestines kicked in.  (Nice, huh?)  I'll spare you the details, but it was a miserably painful and long drive home.

I slept fairly well, and now I just have the run-over-by-a-truck feeling . . . which is WAY better than how I felt Wednesday night and all day yesterday!  :)

So, back at it.  Happy Friday!

  1. Even if you're feeling "better" take it easy today! And this weekend! And for the rest of the month! :)

  2. Like Fiona said, don't overdo. Lots of fluids and rest. We have a bad flu going around in our area and I'm keeping my fingers crossed we don't get it.

  4. Yuck. Nothing like a little GI distress. Glad you are on the mend!

  5. Glad you're feeling better! I hate that feeling you are left with when it's all over, but rest should do it and you'll be good as new tomorrow! (or is that today? I'm so behind!)

  6. Hope by now you're fully recovered and past the uncomfortable symptoms. The stomach bug is miserable!!
