There's an old B.B. King duet in which they sing about being "tired - so, so tired" in a Southern accent . . . so, therefore, it comes out as "tiide". Since hearing it together, Tom and I have always referenced that when we ARE super-duper tired. T-I-D-E, tiiide. And, this is one of those times.
With the new, massive gaming system going in up at the casino, Tom has been working 12-13 hour days this week - usually leaving about 6:15 AM and returning home at 7:00 or 7:30. So, of course that correlates to the alarm ringing all the earlier in the morning. So, so painful! I'm always up 1/2 hour to 45 minutes before Tom to get his clothes ready for the day, make our breakfast smoothie, and pack his lunch, but this morning I was still in bed when he was brushing his teeth. Uuuugh. Just . . . can't . . . move . . . . Anyway, it's going to be a long month (hours-wise) that will zoom by, I'm sure (is that an oxymoron?) with him working so much, poor boy.
