28 October 2006: Last Saturday evening we paid an overdue visit to our good friends who are building in the north central area of the county. If you enlarge this picture, you can see the beautiful moss-covered bedrock plateau that comprises the front yard of (what will be) their home . . . with the horizon of the big lake showing through the trees. They have a stellar spot and are positioned high enough on the rock that they get sunlight practically from sunrise to sunset . . . which is especially important in these dark winter months!
