15 September 2006: A sad, rather desolate looking picture. :( The dining room and kitchen of our little Hastings-on-the-Lake the afternoon that we closed. I was doing fine until Tom and I took the final "walk around". He had already gone to get the last few things into the car, but I walked out to the side yard where my tiny garden was. That's when (to my surprise, actually) I lost it. The overgrown garden symbolized all the things I'd never gotten a chance to or around to doing at that house. I'll miss the coziness of that place.
