7 November 2005: In the late day hours on Monday we got the 2nd half of the year-round porch ceiling done. It went much quicker once we had a smooth rhythm worked out between us. Doesn't the grain and color of the shiplap look good with the timbers?! The outside walls will be sheetrock (and then painted) with the inside walls being wood. I think that will create a nice balance - wood on all the walls and ceilings just would have been too much!
