Monday, August 1st, 2005: Here is an example of timber frame work. The timbers and posts are all supported by one another and knee braces (the short little diagonal beams). The entire thing is held together by friction, pressure, and wooden pegs - not a single nail! Very old technology that worked (and still works) very well. (No pink walls for us, though, thank you very much.)
