Looking southeast - which is the direction the kitchen faces. The utility room is on the left with the drain tile coming up where all the utilities will be (washer, sink, hot water heater, pressure tank, etc.) That drain tile is dug 6' down and will hold the water line coming in from the well. To the right of the utility room is the downstairs bathroom. Behind that is the pantry, and beyond that, the kitchen.
