Do you have any idea how hard it is, as a photographer, to pick out one of your images to give to a fellow photographer as a gift?! IM-POSS-IBLE! A wonderful photog friend's b-day is tomorrow, and I've been trying to pick out an image for her . . . without much luck. There is an image that I named after her, but I took that one at the house that she once shared with her ex-husband and that life that happened "a lifetime ago", so maybe that one's not so apropos. Harrumph. Must. Keep. Thinking.
In other news, there's a new family member in the house tonight! No pictures yet as s/he (don't know!) is an understandably shy one and has yet to leave the protection of its kennel. Well, 'kennel' is a generous word. We had to live trap him/her today at work!! But, here are your clues: it's got four little legs, two big ears, and a straight little bottle-brush tail. It's super fuzzy and all shades of grey. His/her name will be either Ioway or Smokey. Dunno which yet. Have to discover the personality first. Pictures and the full story to come . . . I promise! It's a good one!
And, with that, I'm off to bed . . . although, at 10:00 PM, I'm late compared to last night: I went to bed at (are you ready?) . . . 6:40!!! Note: it was STILL just as difficult to get up with this morning's 6:00 AM alarm!
