Snow & Cold

No time for a proper post, but just thought I'd share "springtime" in northeastern Minnesota:  a fresh dumping of snow (can't tell how much 'cause I haven't gone out to do chores - somewhere between 3-6") and 4 degrees.  Good thing I opened the chicken house WIDE the other day.  (A-hem, that would be sarcasm.)

    Oh, cripes. I have been slapped down twice so far when my enthusiasm for spring gets out of hand -- 6 inches of wet snow Monday, and the forecast for something like that today into tomorrow. Spring my arse.
