Work from Home

Since I'm still sick (but DEFINITELY on the mend!), I decided to not set an alarm this morning.  Wanna know what time I woke up?  11:20!!!!!  And, since today was a "shower day", I knew it would be nearly mid-afternoon by the time I got to the office . . . and then I'd have to pick the dogs up just a couple of hours later.  In short, a waste of time and gas.  So, I worked from home today.  And, wow!  Did I ever get a good amount done!

I updated the Images - Lake Superior page of the Chicken Mama Designs website and started the Images - Autumn one.  It's starting to look so good that I'm gonna actually have to get the shopping cart finished so y'all can start buying prints and canvases!  ;)

The Old Me sooooooooo wants to stay up late and KEEP DOING THIS (!!!!), but The New Me is saying, "Go to bed now, get up rarin' and ready to go and feeling like a million bucks and HIT IT tomorrow!"  (So I decided to put her off by taking the quick minutes to write to you!  Ha.)

Okay.  See you on the 'morrow.

  1. I checked out your website - girl, you have got TALENT!!!! There is a photograph that I must have. Get your ducks in a row and let us know when we can order! I think the Old/New You are working out a comfortable arrangement, don't you?

  2. Can't wait until the shopping cart goes "live", I think there's one in there for me, too! :) Hope you have a great day today!

  3. There is something to be said for taking a day for yourself. The sleeping in was obviously what your body needed.

  4. Susan, THANK YOU! And, you and Erin (thank YOU, too!) being interested in an image already up gives me INCENTIVE to get the shopping cart DONE!

I'm still mostly The Old Me, and my goal is to be mostly The New Me, but, you're right, "we're" getting there! :)

Ruth, today being the start of my weekend, I slept in today, too. I was *SO* tired last night and feeling drained after my first long day since being sick, I tumbled into bed with my bathrobe still on. Woke up in the same position at . . . 12:20 today!!

If you are familiar with me and where I live, please respect my right to retain some anonymity by not referring to me by anything other than Chicken Mama nor mentioning city/town/villages by place names. Thanks!
