Well, I certainly didn't fool anyone with the most recent Question of the Day, did I?! What's up with that? Am I getting too transparent? Hmmm.
Anyway, yes, we are thinking of adding a little kitten to the brood. She and her 4 litter-mates were born on July 28th, so they should be ready to go to new homes mid-to-late September. We saw them at one week old, and they're soooooo cute! I've never seen a kitten so young. Fortunately, we talked about this when the mama cat was pregnant, so it's not an impulse thing based on how adorable they are! ;) (And all this for someone who used to HATE - hate! - cats . . . until Miss Kitty came into our lives!)
And, just for all you smarty-pants out there, our next dog WILL be either a rough-coated Jack Russell (female) or another Tucker (Cardigan Welsh Corgi) - but, again, female for the third dog. We have a friend who has a WONDERFUL rough-coated Jack Russell who will be bred in the spring. We'll keep you posted on that!
And, a llama? Well, they ARE the wave of the future, aren't they? Wait . . . according to late night television, that's alpacas. Besides, what do you DO with llamas?!
