13 July 2006: The night before - when I'd had to drive up to Canada to take Tucker to the vet - I had been very late leaving the property. I had to get down to the house, grab what I needed for the trip (I didn't even have time to change out of my filthy work clothes), and change vehicles. I was flying low! The next morning, when I went out to load up the truck to take to work / the property (Tom was gone, as usual), this is what I found. I was SO lucky that this didn't happen during my speedy drive down the dirt roads from the property the night before. Turns out I had the thinnest of arrowhead-shaped rocks stuck nearly all the way into the tire. That's one of the hazards of driving on gravel roads!
