12 July 2006: With the tank in place in the ground behind the solar panels, our terrific guy from the LP company lifts the heavy anode down next to the tank. As far as I understand, the anode is supposed to act as a receptor for any possible rust or corrosion . . . so that IT does (rust and corrode) instead of the metal tank.
