12 May 2006: I am a sucker for lilacs - they are my FAVORITE flower - and our dear, wonderful seasonal next-door neighbors know that. Living about 300 miles south of us and having their spring season be about 3-4 weeks ahead of ours, they sent this beautiful bouquet up with two of their sons who came up for today's fishing season opener! The scent fills the whole house! (The iris was a gift from our chiropractor for Mother's Day. Hey, I'm a mother to furry "kids"!)
