28 March 2006: After the very cool moose sighting (well, dead moose sighting), we were greeted by a horrible little situation once we got to the property. Since we had last been up, an ice dam had built up outside the temporary man door of the garage. The dam caused all the melting snow from the roof to run under the door INTO THE GARAGE! Tom's workshop - with all his tools on the floor - was wet with about 1/2" of water, and so was the battery room. While I mopped, Tom attacked the ice with a pick axe. Needless to say, it was NOT a fun thing to find and/or deal with.
