21 April 2006: Last Friday the first chipmunk of the year surfaced, causing both Miss Kitty and Maisy to go on the prowl. Miss Kitty has taught Maisy how to catch, kill, and eat birds as well as catch mice and other little critters (like chipmunks). Fortunately (?), while Miss Kitty crunches the vermin right up and swallows them in two gulps, Maisy just mouths them to death and then plays with their poor little carcasses!
