14 March 2006: Around the middle of the month we took Maisy to Canada for her annual check-up and shots. Due to the ever-constant fight with dermatitis on her feet which she won't leave alone once we apply medication, she got fitted with a collar! She's a bit like Winnie the Pooh's sad friend, Eeyore, now when she wears it for the half hour after the medication is applied. She looks around pitiably, slowing stumbles through the house and knocks into things, and otherwise just looks plain dejected. What torture the poor thing is suffering! (Please!)
