8 October 2005: We took the afternoon and evening off (and, truthfully, the next day due to the previous evening's "festivities", shall we say) to spend some much-needed time with friends and celebrate birthdays. We went to this amazing overlook about 1/2 hour's hike from our property where you can see for miles in almost every direction. This view is north/northeast, and pretty much all you see is Canada.
