3 October 2005: The second kitchen roof truss is guided towards its home. Notice the steel pieces extending down from the center of it. Our timber framer had those hand-forged for us to replace wooden king posts and add an extra element to the design. They, alone, probably weighed about 40-50 lbs. each.
