Why I created this blog . . .

Happy Thursday on a chilly and blustery 45 degree day from us to you!

So, the big question is, why this blog? Well, in short, it's to keep you updated on us . . . should you be interested. If you're not interested . . . well, you simply won't come to this website, will you?

I have to admit that I originally felt that personal blogs were, generally speaking, created by fairly self-absorbed folks who thought their lives so very interesting that others would have nothing better to do than spend all their extra online time reading every detail the blogger wrote. But, recently (and obviously), my views have changed, and now I think that blogs are a handy-dandy way for family and friends to stay abreast of each other's lives. So, here we are!

Stop by when you have time, have a perusal, and say 'Hi!'

  1. Great site Chicken Mama. Look forward to hearing about life in the woods...

  2. Yeah...like I have time to read about life in the woods where its quiet and peaceful...or at least until your roosters get yapping.
Hmmmm....good luck. I will check back soon ;-)

  3. Looking forward to the news of the North!

  4. Yo! Nice blog! Does "blog" technically stand for "web long?"

  5. Claire....it's web log...sheesh. Some people. By the way, congrats on your property clearing. And your upcoming wedding.

  6. weslie, can you keep track of my life too? I'd like tokeep tabs on how interesting it is (or not) make stuff up if you feel like it. embellish me. time to water my flowers. wait , never mind it's RAINING!!!!! later, skank
(in case that was in question)

If you are familiar with me and where I live, please respect my right to retain some anonymity by not referring to me by anything other than Chicken Mama nor mentioning city/town/villages by place names. Thanks!
